Biography

Jonathan has experience in undertaking both contentious and non-contentious roles  covering contract and commercial management to the construction and engineering sectors.

With over 25 years’ experience in UK construction industry, working for clients, contractors and subcontractors. Secondments include contract and commercial roles on framework contracts and project contracts.

Jonathan has a good knowledge of both NEC3 and NEC4 suite of contracts, providing strategic commercial advice to contractors, with the gradual transition from scope based contracts to performance based contracts, Jonathan is conversant with identifying key issues and recommending pragmatic solutions.

During his career, Jonathan has been involved in a wide range of construction and engineering projects, including building, utilities (new connections, diversions and reinforcement works both in a regulation and competitive environment), offshore wind farms, pipeline projects, HV and EHV projects, power generation, process pipework and highway construction.
