Evans’ experience spans several sectors, including mining, engineering, infrastructure and real estate. Throughout his professional career, he has successfully managed pre- and post-contract activities, ensuring budget adherence and risk mitigation.
Evans is experienced in project financial planning, contract planning and tender documentation. He is adept at identifying critical contractual risks, developing mitigation strategies and optimising cost-efficiency through design proposal evaluation during value engineering.
For cost management and control, Evans is skilled in monitoring expenditure, analysing project changes and forecasting their implications for budgeting to stakeholders. Evans has experience of administering both standard form and bespoke contracts by applying contractual terms and facilitating negotiations and settlement during disputes.
